Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/New_York' for 'EDT/-4.0/DST' instead in /var/www/webchair/data/www/cloud.uac-ny.org/cutenews/inc/shows.inc.php on line 311
Support the UAC by donating to the annual fundraising dinner!

The Unemployment Action Center will celebrate its 30th anniversary at its Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, February 15. Last year’s banquet attracted over one hundred law students, faculty, and alums, and we are expecting a similar number this year.

The Annual Banquet includes wine and cheese, dinner, the presentation of awards to students for superlative achievement, as well as a keynote speaker. Past speakers have included Eliot Spitzer, Gifford Miller, and Mark Green. This year, our keynote speaker is Jayson Myers, Chief ALJ of the Appeals Board in Troy. The Banquet offers unique networking opportunities and the chance for some of the most successful law students in the city to get to know one another.

Below, please find specific details regarding levels of sponsorship, all of which represent tax-deductible contributions. Appreciation for your sponsorship will appear prominently in our program, which will be viewed by all who attend the Banquet. We will also acknowledge your support on our website.

If you have any further questions regarding the Banquet, please contact Paul Mignano, pdm266@nyu.edu, or Kate Swearengen, k.m.swearengen@gmail.com, Co-Chairs, Unemployment Action Center. Unemployment Action Center 240 Mercer St. New York, NY 10012.

Please reserve your spot today by emailing us at uacmail@yahoo.com, or call at (212) 998-6568, or fax the completed RSVP to (212) 995-4079.
